Maggie is a U.S. soldier who is returning home. While she was away, she got raped by her senior officer who was her friend. When she was sleeping at home she had a nightmare of the rape and when her dad was trying to wake her up she attacked him thinking he was her rapist. After the incident, her son was taken away from her and she started living in a motel. She started drinking and feeling hopeless. She got diagnosed with PTSD.

    Leper Lepellier was once a quiet, sensitive, and thoughtful boy. He conformed to his own rules and had a mind of his own. He would pack up his low self-confidence and together they would quench their thirst for nature. He would look at the world and say “what if?”, and with his wild imagination would think up an answer of his own. But the character trait that brought him to his downfall was his close-mindedness. This is what acted as the little piece of glass which was left in the foot that leads to massive infection and eventual amputation.
