After hitting puberty, teenagers are now at the point where they want to experience things. ‚Don’t go out there and get pregnant‛ a mother explains, ‚you’re too young and I don’t think you’re ready to be a mother.‛ Likewise for a father, ‚Don’t get no girl pregnant and have a child you can’t even take care of.‛ However, that’s the only serious conversation parents ever have with their children about serious matters such as adolescence. They do not speak about the deeper things that teenagers need to be informed about and as a result teenagers will have to find out on their own.
