Research Paper On Yesinia Pestis
Many people back then thought that this treacherous disease was a curse from god, for all the bad they had put in the world. We later found out it was because of the deadly bacteria, Yesinia Pestis, a bacteria that grew in the fleas of rodents, in particular, rats. Because of the poor medical knowledge doctors had back then, they were not able to cure any patients of this disease. Poor hygiene and global trade played a huge part in the spread of this dangerous disease. People did not know how to respond and act when they came into contact with the black death, so they died a long and painful death.
