International Faux Pas
Being part of a military family, traveling to different places every few years, it is very important to learn the basic customs of that region so one does not offend. It is very easy to make a “social blunder”, (Faux Pas, n.d.), internationally or domestically, whether traveling for business or for pleasure. This paper will cover International Faux Pas and how they may be deemed inappropriate in one or more cultures, consequences associated in committing an International Faux Pas, and the culture most difficult to live due to their faux pas.
