Research Paper On Don Quixote
Don Quixote is a Spanish Golden Age novel published in two volumes (1605, 1615) written by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra (Don Quixote). The humorous story about a nameless noble man in his 50’s who excessively reads books on the topic of chivalry, to the point of insanity. The man decides to be a knight and go on quest to perform great deeds of justice. The loss of sanity is revealed in the actions he takes such as taking on a new name of Don Quixote, renaming his horse, and renaming a girl neighbor. His adventures are part his mental fantasy intertwined with real life encounters and real life situations (Cervantes).
