We realize Christmas should be carefree holiday that all families need to enjoy together with a Christmas dinner and gifts; this is exactly what we will provide this year to thirty six families in need. Every team at Tejas has a family they will “adopt” for Christmas. Each team has twelve to fifteen players, this will result in an abundance of gifts and food donated…

Christmas is a holiday celebrated around the world. Children wait all night the evening before for santa to place their gifts beneath the tree. Excitement rages from them the morning of December twenty-fifth; pretty wrapping paper and shiny bows glisten under the christmas tree lights while the bulbs upon it sparkle so elegantly. This holiday is above the amount of money one kid gets while the next gets so little. Though some see Christmas as a materialistic holiday, it has far more depth than so little meaning. The Holiday of Christmas contrasts greatly with celebrations…

“Rudolph the red-nosed Reindeer, You'll go down in history.” Now, I’m sure all of you have probably heard of Rudolph before. As a kid, I loved and dutifully watched this Christmas Special every year. It was about Rudolph and his dream of one day being apart of the team that would deliver toys to children around the world on Christmas. However, there was one slight problem. Rudolph was born with a bright red, glowing nose. Now, I thought it was really cool that his nose literally glowed, but the other reindeer didn’t exactly agree with my sentiment, and Rudolph was treated as an outcast. Because of this, he decided to run away, and discovered the Island of Misfit Toys, a safe haven for all of the toys that were also shunned because of their…

Buzz.. Buzz… Buzz… another Christmas! I wake up to the sight of a plain view outside, the sun glistening onto the golf course outside my window. No snow and i can probably go outside in shorts. The consequences of living in the lone star state includes no snow and many other downsides, I don't mind though. I pull on my favorite fuzzy snowman socks and hop down each step until I finally reach the bottom of the stairs. I look at the tree which reached to touch the top of the room. At the bottom was a never ending pile of gifts, one stacked upon another it seemed like it would take years to unwrap them all.…
