Bermuda is an isolated group of islands of volcanic origin in the Atlantic Ocean. The closest land is the shore of North Carolina 650 miles east of it. Bermuda is around 20 square miles of land which is made up of limestone covered in a layer of soil. There several main islands and many others nearby.
