“HOW DO LEADERSHIP STYLE CHANGE ACROSS ETHNIC WITHIN MALAYSIA”
1. Research Problem
1.1 Introduction
The purpose of this research is to determine whether the leadership style changes with races in Malaysia. This section will explain the background of research, statement of the research problem, purpose of research, importance of research, limitations of research, definition of terms, and summary.
1.2Background of Research
Different type of leadership is always found out in people. The leaders or workers in cooperate world always tend so show up different type of leadership. So this study is to determine the type of leadership that corresponding with races in Malaysia. By knowing the leadership style of the ethic then its can use in the cooperate world for their work ability. This will be useful when dealing or working with them. Different leadership requires different type of approaches.
1.3 Statement of Research Problem
The research focus on the determination of leadership style across ethnic in Malaysia.

Framework of the Research
1.4 Purpose of Research
The purpose is to determine what type of the leadership style each that ethnic is practising. This will make the corporate to understand in given task.
1.4.1 Research Objectives
This research is to be carried out to determine how the leadership style change across ethnic in Malaysia.
1.4.2 Research Questions
This research was carried out to answer the following research questions:
(a) How does the leadership style vary according to the ethnic? (b) What is the effect of leadership style on ethnic?
1.5 Importance of Research
The finding of this research will help the UNITAR International University and other organizations to determine the leadership style of ethnics. This will help the organizations to use correct approach with ethnics when doing the work or task.
1.6Limitations of Research
This research to be carried out in UNITAR International University with 10 lecturer each from ethnic. The sample is choosing randomly across faculty. So the study is only applied in the UNITAR International University. The leadership style can be varies for ethnic under different factors.
1.7Definition of Terms
The followings were the key terms used in this research and their definitions:
Authoritarian Leadership:
A style of leadership in which the leader tells the employees what needs to be done and how to perform it without getting their advice or ideas. This style is used when leaders tell their employees what they want done and how they want it accomplished, without getting the advice of their followers. Some of the appropriate conditions to use it is when you have all the information to solve the problem, you are short on time, and your employees are well motivated.
