What are some of the problems off the deterring reason why male victims of sexual assault don’t disclose or report the offence.
Introducing your topic:
I chose to do this topic on sexual assault, but focusing on male victims. I already had an interest in crime. but I became more curious about the victimization of a male; while producing a documentary on domestic violence. During my research for the documentary, I found that there was less crime reports, statistics and information about men being the victim instead of being the perpetrator; especially when it comes to sexual assault.
