1. Introduction
Men participate in physical activity for many reasons, for example, fitness, enjoyment and so on. However, they may participate in physical activity irregularly. Finding the reasons why men do not participate in physical activity regularly is the aim of the report. Understanding the difference between married men and single men is the main aim. Qualitative research has been adopted in this report. Qualitative research means the researcher can collect complex information on the research topic instead of using numerical information(Zikumund, Babin, Carr & Griffin, 2013). The follow will show the findings and results. 2. Literature Review

Physical activity is important to people’s life. The benefits of participate in physical activity is numerous. Physical activity can help people “prevent a number of chronic dieases” (Maceram, Hootman & Sniezek, 2003). Nevertheless, people’s participation level in physical activity is low. Duncan, Vandelanotte, Caperchione, Hanley and Mummery(2012) stated that although the level of physical activity participation has increased in recent years, the participation level of physical activity is still low. The main reason for people not participating in physical activity is lack of time (Burton & Turrell, 2000). Spinney and Millward (2010) argued that people who lack time to participate in physical activity because they have time crush with other things. This is also one of the reason why man do not participate in physical activity. Man usually have a higher participation level in physical activity. However, there are still some who are not involved in physical activity. The reason why man do not have time for physical activity is they consider family and work are more important than other things(Griffith, Gunter & Allen, 2011). Men may need to work overtime or have shift work which make their working schedules not stable (Desmond, Conrad, Montgomery & Simon, 1993). They have busy work schedules and try to achieved more in their career which leads to lack of time (Griffith, Gunter & Allen, 2011). Man also have to take care of their children and have other family duties which also leads to lack of time (Caperchione, Vandelanotte, Kolt, Duncan, Ellison, George & Mummery, 2012). In addition to lack of time, lack of motivation is another barrier stopping men from engaging in physical activity (Caperchione et al, 2012). Being lazy, feeling bored and wanting to stay away pressure are reasons why men lack motivation(Allison, Dwyer, Goldenberg, Fein, Yoshida & Boutilier, 2005). Also, they think they are too tired to exercise and do not like to exercise for the reason of lack of motivation (Reichert, Barros, Domingues & Hallal, 2007). Lack of time and lack of motivation are the main reasons why man do not participate in physical activity. There are three research questions for this research.

1.Reasons why single men do not participate in physical activity 2.Reasons why married men do not participate in physical activity 3.The similarities and difference of the reasons that single men and married men do not participate in physical activity

3. Research Method
The way to analyze the data is by the qualitative method. The qualitative method can help researchers to get some unexpected results. The qualitative method is more flexible. Researchers can redefine the question if needed. It can help to get more accurate results and also get to understand the findings more deeply. The method of data collection is in-depth interviews. In-depth interviews means “a one-on-one interview between a professional researcher and a research respondent (Zikumund, Babin, Carr & Griffin, 2013). 15 men have been interviewed in this research. A coding method is used to analyzing data in this report. Coding is an inductive method to analyze data. There are three stage of coding, open coding, axial coding and selective coding. Open coding means “ the process of breaking down the data into separate...
