INTRODUCTION
Now, in our society all over the world technology is the most important advancement, a necessity in bringing about progress as we move along in this computerized world. These changes in effect make man’s life easier and more convenient.
Our advanced technology is unfortunately affecting the study habits of the students because there a lot of gadgets that they can use for searching information almost everybody depends on the internet, but there are still many importance of having a library. Many people think that they can find everything they need on the internet and that is not necessarily so. There is a lot of copy write material that is protected well beyond after the time the author is deceased. The internet can compliment the library and work hand and hand, but it can't replace it. Google hasn't even begun to digitized all the books that are available.
Library is a place in which literary and artistic materials such as books, periodicals, newspapers, pamphlets, prints, records, and tapes, are kept for reading, reference or lending. A collection of such materials especially when systematically arranged. The library is a bunch of books with a librarian to check them out to you and back in when you return them. It is important that the library is well organized.
Library Borrowing/Returning System is a process of organizing important information, used to track borrowed items and the scheduled time for returning. This system helps users or people who are responsible in recording the data appropriately. It also saves time and more convenient to use than the traditional manual recording. Lack of library System in a school can lead to disorder and troubles, and because of it the librarian is having a problem to serve each students and faculties who wish to use the library It is extremely useful in the school to use computerized system.
The librarian has to keep the building neat and in good repair and also these things only shows a few of the things which make up your library. Schools set the various learning changes to achieve the current level of education in other countries. Because of the growing numbers of computer users, this became an effective medium to demonstrate the knowledge and skills of the students. From the traditional searching process for the books in the libraries, the interactive usage of computers can be now addressed as part of the library system.
Statement of the Problem
Traditionally, library systems are implemented manually. Forms are given to Librarian and they fill them of using pens. Afterwards, the school administrators process them manually and complied on large bulky file cabinet. Indeed, the manual Library system is very costly, time consuming and tedious. The primary complaint of school administrators with this system is the tiresome task of searching through records just to verify your query data. The fast phased of technology helped a lot to the improvement of the library system. Technology enabled software developers to computerize the library system. The automated library system helped the schools greatly. Library, transactions and queries can be created in a single click.

Because of the advancement of technology there is a possibility that lesser people will go to the library, there are lots of gadgets that they can use to search for articles they need. The libraries have to get updated with the technology instead of using manual library system we recommend? Computerized library system for easier access to information (ex. of who borrowed the book) using Database?

The student’s personal information/data may be stored upon the request of authorized librarian. The assigned librarians are the only one who can share any of the records/data of the students.
The objective of the study was to recommend a computerized library system that will store the student’s records such as student’s basic information, books record, list of borrowers, returned books, and borrowed books.
Objectives of the Study
The primary purpose of this study about Library System is to show how the system helps the librarians, the students and the faculty’s .The study focuses on the borrowing and returning process of the books is also what we want to focus on, the development skills of the user. The role of the integrated library system is to help and manage the effective delivery of library services. This have been traditionally anchored on the management of the catalogue and physical collection .This research also wants to show how this library system encourages the students to go in the library more often.
Scope and Limitation of the Study
The study was about the Computerized Library System of Private Schools in San Pedro Laguna. The implementation of the system will reduce the time and effort of the users in terms of adding, editing, searching, deleting and printing of records. The system can also help in reducing the expenses of the library such as papers, folders, pens and other materials needed in their current system. The system is LAN-based that enables the librarian to share the records of the student such as the borrowing books, returning books, search books, and prescriptions of the librarian. The student’s personal information/data may be stored upon the request of authorized librarian. The assigned librarians are the only one who can share any of the records/data of the students. The system is not capable of sharing its data from other databases. The system will be developed using the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.
This Study will also focus on the Library System of Private Schools in San Pedro Laguna. On how they manage their library if it‘s manual or computerized .On what is more useful for them, Is it manual or computerized library system. What are their procedures and policies in borrowing and returning of books.
Significance of the Study
The significance of this study was to help and give a benefit to the concerned group below. Student - Through a computerized library system, they can easily find the books that they are looking for without going through the traditional way of searching a library material. Convenience is more visible for it is not time-consuming, resulting to a number of accomplished works.
Librarian - The computerized library system would improve the monitoring capacities of those who maintain the library. It would be easier to determine whether a particular book is on-shelf or not. In addition, they can easily identify when will the borrowed material be returned and if a borrower has failed to return the book on its due date. Furthermore, the librarian would be much guided when it comes to recognizing new inventory books, letting them arrange it promptly and accordingly.
Theoretical /Conceptual Framework
Conceptual frameworks are type of intermediate theory that has the potential to connect to all aspects of inquiry (e.g., problem definition, purpose, literature review, methodology, data collection and analysis). Conceptual framework is potentially so close to empirical inquiry, they take different forms depending upon the research question or problem.

The conceptual model of study is best illustrated on the paradigm of the input box; it deals on knowledge requirements, Users Needs, Existing Applications, Development Tools and Techniques, Technical Literature, Results of users’ survey, expert advice, software, requirements, and hardware requirements It deals on the Perceptions towards the existing manual system and computerized library system as to accuracy, user friendly, security and speed of data and information.
