Terrorism has taken part of all of our lives. At least once a week, some type of terrorism has happened or tried. President Obama discussed how he took cautious views on fighting terrorism and Isis. Mr. Obama is reluctant to having more Americans die fighting at war with terrorism. Although, it's also understandable to just want to end the war completely. This is the Republicans argument. Republicans would just like to send troops to fight the war in the Middle-East ending once and for all. In order to the long awaited war, it takes more resources, like machinery, weapons, money, and troops. Republicans also feel the situation we're in now, it's vital to demolish any chance of Iran having nuclear weapons for protection of America and the rest

    After Reconstruction the states that resided in the north were primarily Liberal Republican. This was due from Lincoln’s association with the Republican Party, and the role he had on equal treatment for blacks during the Civil War (Boles pg. 570). Also, the term liberal is associated with the progressive party, which means looking forward. In contrast, the south was primarily Conservative Democratic, with the term conservative associated with being stuck in old ways of doing things. This implies that they did not agree upon the equal opportunities among blacks and whites, because they viewed blacks more as servants. This way of thinking stemmed from before the Civil War, when slavery was still in common practice. So, one of the main divisions between the two parties was the issue on race. Today the south is largely associated with the Conservative Republican platforms, and the north being associated with the Liberal Democratic platforms.     As of November 20, 2014, same –sex marriage has been legalized in 35 out of 50 U.S. states. Same-sex marriage is a hot topic which the Supreme Court is considering to legalize. Many people say a homosexual person is a sinner. The question is do homosexual people choose his or her gender? They were born that way and they are happy with their lives. Homosexual people are nothing unlike heterosexual people. They are living, they are working, and they contribute to society.
