Dear Representative Dr. Mohammed:
My sister and I have been very fortunate to have been accepted for this scholarship and get the privilege of an excellent education that would prepare us for the future and to better serve our country. I currently have children in both elementary and daycare. I have become very concerned about my kids’ enrollment in school and the impact it is going to have on their education, especially the one in elementary school. My concerns were made after hearing and talking with other parents about the education system in the state of Ohio. As a parent yourself, I am sure you would share many of these concerns.
For this reason, most of the parents prefer a private school for their children, especially if they could afford it. The school is a big influence on our children and I do not want to build my success of having a better education over my daughter’s and let her suffer a fault choice, I made for her. So I have enrolled her in a private school and she is doing very well. Now, after being done with the daycare payments, we start all over again and take the responsibility of dealing with her school tuition. It is unclear why thousands of Saudi Students Families are still suffering as I do and there has been no response or action regarding their kids’ daycare needs.
We were promised to get support for the kids’ daycare, but we have heard nothing so far. The daycares are a big burden on families and the $270 income paid by the government for each child is barely enough. In fact with out the supporting of my sister, I would not have lasted these three years in the US. We plead your support and to present this issue to our honorable government and show your attention to this situation. This would be a very small price to invest in the futures of our children and help lift some of the burden on our side. I believe that in supporting this issue you will impact the lives of thousands of families who are waiting to be heard.

The decrease in private kindergartens combined with rising demand for early childhood education have further intensified the shortages in early childhood educational resources (Zuo 2010).
