The medieval age is the time where there were a lot of problems occurred, it caused depopulation in the Roman Empire, and most people did not like the catholic religion controlling everything so they started moving out. Other people like Barbarians and Germanic people moved out and created their own empire which is the Western Roman Empire. There were also invasion in the Roman Empire I brought death to their people, and it cause more depopulation during that time. Society was less inspired throughout this era it was more filled with difficulties and famine, war and plague. The plague that occurred during this time period claimed seventy-five million lives it was known as the black death in the 14th century. The Church however preserved authority because they served society truth. The Church however became the most powerful empire after the fall of Rome during the medieval era. Scientific observers did experimentations that never matched with the accepted truths, because of this result, it inspired most scientist to seek for more truthful answers. For instance, Nicolas Copernicus, he came up with the heliocentric theory in which he stated that “the Earth was simply one of a number of planets orbiting the Sun.” before the heliocentric theory there was the old geocentric theory which includes that “the Earth was the center of the solar system.” However the heliocentric theory was in delay due to the lack support of evidence.
