Assignment-#1 Report on the Religious Life of Plant Earth

I was asked by my superiors to visit the planet Earth and ascertain if people are religious and what they practice in the aspects of religion. I will give you examples of behavior or beliefs I observed during my visit to Earth. The first thing that I saw was that Earth and its people are separated by many religions and variations of religions. What I mean by this is religion is a collection of cultural systems, belief systems, and world views that establish symbols that relate humanity to spirituality and to moral values. They say this man died on a cross, and rose from the dead on the third day. Followers said this was done so Jesus could save the world from their sins and they would have eternal life. The religion is written down in a book the followers call a Bible and apparently there are 39 different versions of the book. This Religion is observed and is wide spread throughout the planet (Chrisitianity.com). People that consider themselves Christian worship in a building called a church and go to this building at least once a week. It appeared they typically went on Saturday’s and Sunday’s which is considered the Sabbath Day or Day of Rest. I did notice some followers went to worship during the week . It appears they live their lives to a degree that praises the deity called “God” so they will have eternal life . As I walked around after the ceremony they call mass I noticed that many of the followers were wearing jewelry that resembled a cross. This appears to be a symbol of their religion and could be seen on many of the
