Recently a poll was conducted among high school students to get their point of view on regifting. 89% of students said they enjoy receiving regifted gifts. Regifting is defined as giving a gift that one has received to another individual who the original owner did not intended for the gift to be for. Around Christmas time there are so many arguments on whether regifting is ethical or dishonest. So is it acceptable to regift? Regifting is very acceptable. For example, if your grandma gives you a shirt that doesn’t fit and you give it to your younger sister as a gift, that is regifting and is very ethical. Not only can regifting be a good way to clean out closets, and make space for things you don’t need, it is also very environmental, and cost effective. Regifting helps the environment
