Reflective Journal Analysis
To help students thinking both theoretical and clinical perspectives, the reflective journal was a crucial tool (Taylor-Haslip, 2009). According to Northern Illinois University defined that “reflective journals are personal records of students’ learning experiences” (n.d., p. 1). In nursing education, educators used journal writing as a tool that provided nursing students to record, to reflect, and to integrate their clinical experiences with knowledge (Taylor-Haslip, 2009).
