Reflection (Seminar)
Reflection Paper On our subject, Hospice Accommodation, our teacher was telling us about our final project which is conducting a seminar. We are tasked on Housekeeping Department. At first, I thought it was just a piece of cake, but I was wrong, it was the total opposite. It was really difficult to organize a seminar. Most especially if you are a first timer of doing such things. To make it easier, we divided the tasks to our group mates; I was assigned of doing the paper works such as the certificates, program, encoding the letters and a lot more. It was really stressful particularly on finding a speaker. Four hotels rejected our request and the day that was assigned to us to have our seminar was fast approaching. We quite felt hopeless, but our dedication makes us more determined to find a guest speaker. After lots of unwelcoming approach to the past hotels, God is so good because he took us to Crown Hotel and has Mr. Thom Richard Dy as our guest speaker. I thought it will run smoothly since we have already our speaker, but it wasn’t stop there, because we find it hard in terms of approving our certificates to our dean and our chairperson. It took us days after it has been approved by them. There are lots of requirements to be submitted and we are grateful that we accomplished all of that successfully. During our seminar, Mr. Dy gave us very knowledgeable information about housekeeping and other educational ideas about our industry that we in that could really help us for future purposes. Mr. Dy was not just a successful professional but a kind hearted person as well, because he let us have his time aside from his busy schedule. He was really approachable to us students and was able to answer all the questions that have been asked with all his will. We are also thankful to our teacher because she was so considerate to our group and let us moved the date that gives us time to find our speaker. I was also gratified to my group mates for the reason that

In my opinion, it is very challenging job to find a balance between providing adequate pain medications for suitable candidates and preventing these medications from being misused and abused. Providing care with a holistic approach will allow an FNP the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with their patients. As a result, they can easily monitor patients' use of opioids over time and frequently assess patients' conditions to determine the need for continuing pain medication. Even more important is the need to educate patients about the benefit and the risk when using opioids as well as how to properly discard unused medication. Last but not least, an NP should keep up with current research for alternative pain management such as…

The first paper that we had to write was a literacy narrative, it didn’t need any research but we had to remember a time that made our reading or writing experience memorable. Our second paper that we had to write was a Cause and Effect Essay, we had to do a little research to get information. I chose to write about stress and how it can affect academic success. Our third paper was a Persuasive Commentary, this one I chose to write about volunteering. Grinning faces greeted me as I entered the room, “We did it!”, exclaimed Aidan and Harry. After a semester of tutoring two ‘failing’ students at a local school, it was fantastic feeling knowing they had passed their GCSE Math. They had surpassed their expectations and it was humbling to know that my two hours each week with them had played a small part in their success. Due to class sizes of up to fifty, students would switch off and consequently slip behind in their math lessons. I aimed to make my teaching sessions as engaging as possible by showing them the real world applications of what they were learning, to show my tutees that math wasn’t, but a deeply interesting subject and proficiency in it could unlock many opportunities for them…

Throughout my years in high school math was never one of my strongest subjects, but that all changed when I enrolled in honors pre-cal. When I received my schedule I thought there had been some mistake, the fact that I landed an honors class in something I totally sucked in was an idea that I could not get a good grasp on. I could feel my blood pressure rising and I wanted to get out of that class more than anything in the world, but there was also a part of me that was excited. There were a million thoughts going through my head at once, one minute I wanted nothing to do with the class, and the next I would be totally hyped about the idea of having another honors class under my belt.I tired to come up with every reason I could not actually stay in the class, but when I realized that…
