When 9/11 occurred I was only three years old and I didn’t realize what was going on. I learned that I take little things for granted sometimes. I feel that the little things mean alot even though they might not matter to some they make a big difference in the world. I feel that I would do this activity again because it was fun and I got to make a few new friends. I also learned that people who helped with the cleanup of 9/11 had health issues.
I also learned the long term effects of 9/11. I learned that we weren’t doing well economically and it led to other wars with Afghanistan because of Al-qaeda. Also, Homeland security’s budget increased from $16 billion in 2002 to more than $43 billion in 2011. There also a long list of many other things that have changed because of 9/11 but the main thing if affected was our nation. The security was never the same because of the events that have taken place. I feel that it may be annoying to stay in a long line at the airport but its also important for our safety so I don’t mind
