Reflection On The LIA Leadership Team

I’ve decided to run for the LIA leadership team because I have seen the impact that the leaders this year left behind and I aspire to do the same. Latinos in Action has taught me many things including on how to work well with others and that there isn’t a dead end for undocumented students, like myself, after high school. Every time I step in the Lia classroom I feel like I’m part of the community and that I belong. As a member of LIA I hope that I can get the chance to become a leader. A leader should possess initiative, honesty, commitment, and many other attributes.
