Reciprocity Research Paper
The practice of giving in order to receive, or reciprocity, is practiced when I voluntarily contribute to the fundraisers of California College staff, or to the school fundraiser of my classmates. In return, they can assist with particular fundraisers of my children. Reciprocity is exercised when the staff and classmates understand the validity of why they need to support or contribute to a particular fundraiser. For example, my children are collecting funds for the American Heart Association’s Jump Rope for the Heart. The familiarity of The American Heart Association to the staff and my colleagues places an obligation to contribute and support certain fundraisers of my children.
