Reason It Security Class Is Important

The reason this class is important to me:
A security + certification can open many doors in the information security field. The information security field is a field that is growing rapidly and even employers in most of the other IT fields are requiring that you have some type of security training. Most security certifications require experience in the field to become certified, but to get a job that will provide the experience you need to get certified requires that you have security certifications already in order to be hired for the job. By having the security + certification you can get hired for the job and get the experience you need to get the other certifications you will need in the field.
I myself would like to get both the Certified Information Systems Security Professional Certification and the Certified Information Systems Auditor Certification and by having the security + certification I have a good foundation for getting those certifications. My ultimate goal is to work for a private security company who does contract work for the government. My brother is one of their top cryptologist linguist specialists and he is always telling me that they are in constant need for security professionals so getting the security + certification is a big step for me towards getting my dream job.
There are other security certifications I would like to achieve like the Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP), Cisco Advanced Security Field Specialist, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security (MCSE: Security), Certified Ethical Hacker, and Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator Certification. The career path that I’ve chosen will help me achieve these certifications as well as some other certifications and it one of the reasons this class is very important for me and
