Ready To Build A Strong Team Summary
Many of us may have different opinions on the viewpoint of building a strong team. Although in the story Davis’s perspectives on building a strong team were pretty clear. Davis’s approach on how to build a strong team was that each person had to do a certain job based on their skills. The team had to be loyal to one another, but most importantly was that each team member had to believe in themselves and have an enjoyable time no matter what they were facing. “Luis was the tether, man, responsible for the pickup and release of what would be a 100-pound robot.” As you can see each member had their own assignment no person had too much stress on them. Davis’s probably thought this was important to build a strong team. If one person has all the responsibility the team doesn’t function efficiently because it’s too much pressure. Although on this team there wasn’t a lot of work to put one person it was divided evenly. They only had to be responsible for their own task. Then they would come as one and their ideas would come also together as one. Each of their jobs was based on their skills and what they knew. “Lorenzo and his family were on the verge of eviction for nonpayment of rent. “Cristian started yelling, and all three started to hug Luis, who held the now-filled blue balloon.” “Luis stood there with a silly grin on his face while his friends danced around him.” Here it proves they all had created a bond of trust and loyalty. The team had remained as a whole even though each one of them had an obstacle holding them back. In the story Davis says that Lorenzo was about to lose his house because his family couldn’t pay the rent, but even though he was in those circumstances he fought through and he stayed
