My expectations for this class are not the highest, although I do expect people to take it seriously, so we can get to learn something, because it is in fact my favorite class. I’m convinced that this class will be much more difficult than what I’m used to, so I have to hold on, really be active and follow in class, so I don’t fall behind, which I think will be easy. I look forward to learn a lot of new things about the English language and of cause expand my vocabulary more. The stuff we have to learn, I expect to be hard, so it’s required that I do my best and stay focused.
When it comes to my class mates, I expect them to respect each other, and not laugh or make fun of anybody. There will always be some who are better than others, so I believe that it’s important to make room for everybody to learn. That includes the teacher to. Some pupils will be very interested in learning new things, and some might be a little shy or scared of speaking in class, and I know how that is, so I think the teacher should be aware of those who don’t speak as much, and take extra care of them and the ones who are less good.
I never really had problems with this language, but I’m still not the best. Not that I want to be the best. I just want to be more confident when I talk to other people, because I’ve always been afraid to say something wrong. I have to make sure, that I’m speaking correctly, so as I said, I really expect myself to step up, and really get something out of this class. I always had I problem with spelling in English though, and my grammar is not that good either, so that is two things I’d like to focus on. My punctuation is definitely bad, so now there are three things. But I still do believe that I have an ok foundation for learning this properly.
My impression so far is good. We speak mostly English in class, but I get the feeling, that we’re not as excited as we could be. I look forward to really get started, so all of us can improve.

The English 3003 class has helped me in various ways in improving and shaping my writing skills. Although some of the work were tedious and sometimes frustration at times, but overall it was a fun class to be in and was a great learning experience as well. I had to take this class not because I failed to secure an 8 in the WST test but because I had problems mainly due to my poor writing. Throughout the class this quarter I experienced many methods and different types of writings and essays. The writing homework took time, and several ideas and sometimes google searches to make it a good essay I can score marks on, but in return, I learned skills and techniques…

Effective communication with colleagues is important to make sure that we are able to share good practice and support each other. It is also important to make sure that the service you are providing is of the greatest value for the pupils, for example; if you are asked to work with a group of pupils and teach them something which you know they have already learnt. It is important that you have a relationship with the teacher where you would feel comfortable telling them that the children have already learned that specific skill, and find out if it would be more beneficial to work with a different group or to…

I am always respectful to the children and all the adults in my setting this will show the children that they need to do the same. I will recognise the professional boundaries that govern a teacher's behaviour in order to comply with their code of conduct; the role of a teacher is multi faceted. It requires the teacher to be able in terms of teaching their given subject, but they also have to be competent in many of the softer skills often taken for granted by outsiders ‘looking in’. The ability to share knowledge, conduct research on a subject and understand individual learning styles is coupled with the ability to be a good listener, be approachable, be able to constantly assess and be able to demonstrate new materials are just a few. In addition to knowing your subject and having a good ability to use the softer skills to get the best from learners, there must also be an ability to recognise boundaries that must not be crossed.…

Writers all have different strengths and weaknesses when it comes to their writings. They all have them but my weaknesses are my grammar, spelling, and my punctuation. First of I don’t really understand all of the rules of grammar, therefore I am not good at grammar in the first place. The thing that I know I can't do the most out of all three of these topics is my spelling. I am so bad at spelling and it can be very bad on my writings, my punctuation could use some work also. I either forget to use it or just don't know that I was supposed to. I feel like it is a good thing that I am taking this class because I need…

Throughout my Writing experience I have always had trouble with making the sentence make sense, making it sound professional and doing what the assignment tells to do. I think that this class has actually helped me a lot more than in High School. The new paragraph is better because I listened to what my peers advised me to do and what the book says how the paragraphs should look like. I think I can still use some work on punctuations, because that’s my weakness I have always struggled with punctuations and I think it’s time to start doing better on those punctuations. Even If I knew how to do punctuations and everything that involves writing a good essay or paragraph I think that there will be still a lot more to learn for me, but I can take a challenge.…

    Optimism Reaction Paper

When a person displays a positive psychology, he is very hopeful for the future and this is reflected in his performance whether in school or at work. As noted, his personality traits will determine his behavior or reaction (Coon and Mitterer, 2010). He does not make excuses for bad things or allow temporary setbacks to deter him, but continues to persevere (Seligman M.E.P., 2002). Upon completion of my Optimism Test, my overall score was average. I had no qualms about this because some of the situations in the questions did not happen to me, so I will assume that my results were indicative that others in my age and gender group responded likewise. Three experiences that account for my level of optimism were my decision to relocate, my experiences as a grandmother, and my divorce. These experiences may be life-altering for some, but they have not made me feel bad about the way I choose to live my life.…
