During Ray Bradbury's short story of there will come soft rains Bradbury displays his own interpretation of the future. Ray Bradbury shows a fully automated house and even has its own voice. It can clean cook as if it was a real person.
This short story takes place in Allendale, California during August 4, 2026. Just nights ago, a bomb dropped, blowing up most of everything in sight. Leaving behind one house, a dog, and green radiation. This house was the only one left standing, the blast has charred a mirror image of what life was like before the blast.
