Pupils are familiar with the word raindrops.
At the end of the lesson learners should be able to 1. Spell the keyword ‘raindrop”.2. Identify raindrops from the chart. 3. Write the word “raindrop raindrop” neatly into their books.

Read and write: Raindrops, raindrops.
(1)Teacher asks the pupils to identify raindrops from the chart. (2) Teacher asks pupils to spell and pronounce the word raindrop. (3) Teacher guides pupils to write the sentence in their book using Nelson Style of writing.

Teacher revises more rhymes with the pupils.
At the end of the lesson learners should be able to:
- Identify the word (rain).
- Spell and pronounce the keywords in the rhymes such as pouring, raining, old, man, snoring, e.t.c. - Recite and demonstrate properly to the rhyme.

(1)The learners are asked to identify rain with the aid of a picture. (2)Spell and pronounce the keywords in the rhyme such as pouring, rain, old, man snoring, et.c (3)Recite the lyrics of the rhyme correctly.

(4) Recite and demonstrate correctly to the rhyme.

They should be able to recite the lyrics of the rhyme correctly. They should be able to spell pronounce the keywords in the rhyme. They should be able to spell and pronounce the keywords in the rhyme, recite the lyrics also , able to recite and demonstrate correctly to the rhyme. Pictures, voices, flashcards and charts.

Recite and demonstrate to the rhyme it’s raining, etc.
Teach your friends the rhyme when you get home.
