Radiation therapists are required to complete a form of education and must be licensed in most states. The least amount of education that you would need to have is a certificate which can be completed in less than year. However most employers to hire people that have gotten more then just the certificate radiation therapy which take between two to four years to finish. The types of classes you are expected to take to become licensed are physics, physiology, anatomy and algebra.
