Racism In The Community

Racism is something that’s learnt, not something you’re born with. Racism within the community is an extremely prevalent problem within the eyes of the minority as the oppression causes difficulty within job opportunities, a bias opinion from the community and a failure to communicate their opinions. Due to the oppression of the minority group, job opportunities have significantly decreased for them. In the US, racism is a well-known issue and job providers don’t want those who’ll cause trouble to be in their company. Society deems those who are foreign as beasts that need to be put down, as the foreigners are subjected to the cruel treatment racism grows. The Washingtonpost.com supports this by saying “It leads police officers to believe that black people they run across are not humans. Instead, they are animals, super predators, poised to rampage and rape and pillage and murder.” The majority influences the masses causing the false ideas of the minority to be believed. As stated in washingtonpost.org “Racism is a real thing. It leads the majority to grow to believe that minorities are less than human.” Admittedly, the minority doesn’t seem to be helping their cause as they appear to be further hurting
