What is racism? When I think of racism, I think of the word discrimination. Discrimination is exactly what racism means. Judging someone for the color of their skin, and treating them as if they are inhuman is by far the most futile thing that exist among us. Before my time, racism was like a necessity to the people of our nation. Slavery, one owning another and using them like farm animals just because of the color of their skin, was known of as fair.
Slavery went on from the early 1600s all the way until the late 1800s. Millions of slaves died fighting for their freedom, and from living in the horrible conditions that they had to live in. How could America be so
