Rachel Scott's Shooting Research Paper
Why are police blaming the parents of Dylan and Eric for the shooting? Why should they have to take the responsibility for the shooting when it was their children’s actions? One of the victims of the shootings was a girl named Rachel Scott. Rachel Scott was born on August 5, 1981 and was murdered on April 20, 1999. The first reason why parent shouldn’t go to jail is: the parent didn’t know about what their children is doing. That was one of the reason because when Dylan and Eric was practicing how to shoot guns in the mountains their parents didn’t know about it. When or before the attack Dylan and Eric didn’t call their parents that they are going to do an attack in the Columbine high school or even told them that they are practicing how to shoot. Also there is no evidence that the parents know because the parents got under an investigation because about what their sons did. After the attack the teachers didn’t call the police so they can see why they did that. Also the parent did know because they want to know why their children did that. Who are they working for? And also what are they doing every day?
The third reason why parents are not going to jail is: the police have to blame the L.A teacher. Why the teacher? The teacher because she know that they are going to do the attack.
