“Look at what you've got and make the best of it. It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.”
“We were taught to respect everyone, especially those who were older and wiser than we were from whom we could learn.”
“Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.”
“Remember there's no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.”
I firmly believe that respect is a lot more important, and a lot greater, than popularity.
“Respect was invented to cover the empty place where love should be.”
“I am fond of pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Pigs treat us as equals.”
“Respect yourself and others will respect you.”
“We cannot expect people to have respect for law and order until we teach respect to those we have entrusted to enforce those laws.”
There is no respect for others without humility in one's self.
As all human beings are, in my view, creatures of God's design, we must respect all other human beings. That does not mean I have to agree with their choices or agree with their opinions, but indeed I respect them as human beings.
“Treat the other man's faith gently; it is all he has to believe with.”
“Let every man be respected as an individual and no man idolized.”
“Respect a man, and he will do all the more.”

Respect is a very strong fiber of my being. My childhood made me realize that treating people the way you would like to be treated is not just something we heard in school, it should be lived by. Everyone starts off with the same level of respect from me. It does not matter one 's title, sex, race, religion, or sexual preference. If you are a living, breathing, human being I will treat you as I would like to be treated. When I see others being mistreated I have a deep seated urge to stand beside them and show them they are not alone. It does not matter to me if I am the only one that feels this way; I will stand up for what I believe in. I was the only straight male that joined…

From past experiences I have learned the real meaning of respect. This word is more powerful than one can imagine. With respect comes unselfishness. When people respect others, they are treated equally. My mother and father always told me to be tactful in the way I treated others, so I would also be respected. It has worked in the past and will always hold true in the future. If someone respects another with proper judgment, people feel good inside which gives them a sense of integrity. When I give respect and witness how it makes others feel, I feel like more of a person. I feel proud. Honored.…
