When you come to that time in your life where smoking really isn't doing it anymore, quitting can seem somewhat of a struggle. However, whilst never easy; there are a number of steps to quit smoking that could help. As you first start to think of quitting, set yourself a date. As you approach this date, try already to minimize the number of cigarettes you have each day. That you are thinking of quitting should help in this regard.

Many people use smoking as a way to ward of boredom; so this could be an issue when giving up.
