For over 5,000 years, quinoa grain has been grown in numerous parts of South America. It was a staple in the Incan diet plan and it also enjoyed a key role in their way of life due to the fact it was thought to be a sacred food. However, it's got only been recently that quinoa grain has made its way to the United States. You really should give this wonderful grain a try for those who have not yet. It is often called a super food and for good reason. The overall nutritional profile is simply incredible. What is the most remarkable with regards to quinoa grain is which it is a plant based food that's also a total healthy proteins source. The most vegetable foods are deficient in at least one of the amino acids that we need for survival. However, quinoa has all eight.
