3) Where did they live? (What part of North America)- The Apache tribe originally lived in the Southwest deserts in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Some Apache people were also located across the border in northern Mexico.
4) What sorts of food did they eat? - The Apache people mostly had a diet that consisted of buffalo, deer, antelope, and small game (the Apache men were mostly hunters, never farmers). Woman collected nuts, seeds, and fruit from the environment around them. They often ate corn because they traded with the Pueblo tribes and the Spanish, or by capturing it during raids.

Describe them. - The Apache people lived in wickiups, which was about the size of a modern camp tent and could be built in 2 hours by an Apache woman if there was enough brush. - The Apache people were greatly affected by their environment. Since the Apache people lived in deserts it made it impossible for them to farm the land and grow many plants to the lack of water. Therefore, the Apache people started to hunt in animals that would usually be considered very “wild” in Europe because of all their produce. For hunting and the temperature all Apache people had to wear lightweight and very light colored clothes due to the overpowering heat that was surrounding them. I wouldn’t say the environment dominated the tribe but they definitely had problems, they had an abundance of very few items.
