On The Road to Becoming the Next Queen Latifah At the age of only 4, I wanted to be like Queen Latifah. I say this because an actor/actress takes a huge part in the world. Without actors we wouldn’t have entertainment to watch. The history of film began in the 1890s, when motion picture cameras were invented and film production companies started to be established. Which is a perfect example of entertainment playing a big role in all actors’ life. We would have so much unemployment if there was no more acting. An important asset to becoming an actor is knowing the inside and out of the career. Such as the salary range or even the education you must have. You don’t necessarily need any educational degrees or anything such of that sort, but professional acting lessons or camps would be highly recommended. Some movie sets or television sets have their own camps or sessions where an upcoming actor can go to improve their skills and knowledge about the surroundings. An actor would like to know how much they were getting paid, wouldn’t you? Well a beginning actors salary would range from twenty-two dollars an hour up to thirty-five an hour. An average or professional actor would have a salary of anywhere from thirty-five up to forty-two
If they are paying a role in a particular city, town or evet country they will have to leave if they want to keep the role. [ Bureau of Labor Statistics] They are not required to stay in one city and only act in that city, traveling takes a big part in the acting career. If you want to be an actor/actress be sure you don’t have too many obligations in just one city or town. Actors also have great job security, because they will always know acting will still be there. Maybe not the certain role or act they would like to do, but some acting of some sort will always be around. Someone can be hired right on the spot if they meet the requirements for the
