Silliman University is known for its quality of education and also the expensiveness of the school compare to the other school inside Negros Oriental. This is because Silliman University is a private school that does not get money from the government and that is run by a group of individuals. Silliman University has an average tuition fee of thirty-eight thousand five hundred seventy pesos (₱38,570). This is according to the official website of the University. Base on this, the expensiveness of the High School Department of the University is very high. To be able to study here there should be a great financial foundation to be capable of paying for the tuition. Many people around the world use technology. Most people use technology to communicate and socialize. People who have children use computers or tablets to let their children play while they are bored. Students use technology like computers to do research on homework or projects. Technology is a product of an intellect mind to make life simpler and plain. This are just some reasons why there are universities are now adopting the technology as a learning tools for their education. Imagine a Philippine classroom where students do not anymore use thick, paperbound books. Instead, before each student and the teacher is an iPad.It’s happening now at Foundation University here inDumaguete City.The iPad is Apple’s revolutionary handy tablet computer, which has become a popular platform for audio-visual media including books, periodicals, movies, music, games and web content. Now, Silliman University High School is now one of the universities that adopt the technology as a tool for better education.

There are many advantages about the use of technology but there are also disadvantages. One of this is on our health. Health is our overall condition of our bodies and minds. Technology can have a large impact on users' mental and physical health. Well first of all, carrying an electronic device is much easier than carrying loads of books at school. This promotes laziness because students will get used to getting things the easy way. And carrying an extra weight on your back, in this case books, is a good form of exercise. Students will also become dependent on technology and its capabilities. And this will make them incapable of doing simple tasks because they have the technology to do the task for them. Although technology has helped us to do great things we do not need to be completely dependent on technology. To become dependent to technology is absurd. Humans are capable of many things. Because these e-books are installed in different electronic devices the children will not be encouraged to review his or her lessons. Why? Because the brains of these children are already programmed that when they see an electronic device such as an iPad they will automatically associate it to fun or social media. They are not yet used to using iPad when studying their lessons. Not like when the children sees their textbooks the mind will always associate the textbooks to school or studying. Because the textbooks are what the students are used to
