All of the teachings of Jesus can be summed up in the one word "love." The love of Jesus Christ was perfect love, and he commanded his disciples to love one another as he loved them. Christians well know that they do not have this Christlike love in themselves, but when they remember how Christ loved them and died for them, they in turn will love others. In Matthew 5:43-48, Jesus is teaching that one should love their enemies. In order to love an enemy, Jesus requires us to "Love" our enemies, not hate them. He wants us to show good will towards our enemies. “Bless” those who curse us. Even if someone speaks evil of us, we are to speak kind words to them. “Do good” to those that hate us. There may be people that do not like us for various reasons. We are to treat them like we want to be treated no matter what they do to us. “Pray” for those who spitefully use us and persecute us. We are to pray for our enemies, not just about them, but for their well-being and their salvation.…

In society today, envy and anger run rampant among people. Those with envy and anger show their hatred toward the world in many ways, including mass shootings and harming others both physically and mentally. Taking the lives of innocent people has become commonplace. In Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus describes the greatest commandment by stating, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” If one cannot love oneself, one will never be able to love their…

Jesus’ ministry was predicated on love. He asserted that we should love one another. Therefore, I believe if we all love one another, the world would be a better place to live. Thus, displaying unconditional love for my fellowman is the spiritual path I ascribe. In addition, unlike the religion of my culture I believe that there are many paths to God.…

Goethe's statement, "Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help then to become what they are capable of being" is commonly used in both a positive and negative form in today's society. When a person looks the statement carefully over, they will find the meaning into what he is saying. From the Bible, the quote "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you" is very similar to Goethe's statement. If a person acts in a certain way toward somebody, then the environment and the people in which that person is surrounded by affects his attitude directly. When a person believes somebody has the capability to be more than they are, and the person pushes that person to succeed, the person will live up to those standards. By having another source other than yourself see what you are capable of doing, it lets people see themselves from a different perspective. There are many examples in modern day society of Goethe's statement.…

This was written in the book of Matthew 16:24 “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”And also it say this in the book of Luke 9:23.It is true, denying to our self means that do not followed your wants to bring only happiness to you sometimes there are things that will makes you happy but it was not God’s will just like when you eat what we called “ampalaya” it was bitter but it is good in our health and also called “Siling Labuyo” it was so spicy but you know it is good in our blood vessels it strengthen it. What I mean is when people doing things that makes them happy but it is prohibited by God’s will, like when a man that has wife who took for another women it is enjoyable for them that they have another girl that is balmy because he tired of his wife scented that is not good so he find another women but it was contrast the word of God, it says at Exodo 20:17 and Deuteronomio 5:21 “Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour’s wife……”.…
