Qualitatives Interview Reflexion
The topic “Wie stellt sich die Person, wenn sie gewinnen würde, ihren eigenen Reichtum vor? Wie würde sie mit dem Geld umgehen?” which I’m going to observe, I have chosen to analyze the results from interview that I have conduct at 10th of November 2013. My interview partner is student of business administration, at age 22. We provided very interesting and fascinating conversation almost hour and a half, where he dreamed to be one of the luckiest persons in the world and to win the Mega Jackpot.
At the beginning of the interview, I have briefly explained to my interlocutor the topic of the research as well some clarifications, which I think are very important for the right understanding of the questions. I presented him a picture, where he win from lottery 100 000 000 . What he should do with so much money? Did he think that the money could change his personality? Those are few from my first questions regarding to explanations of my observation. Many other interesting questions are coming up naturally from the conversation.
First of all I have considered, that he is a very hazard person, who plays at least twice per week in casino, Lotto or other similar games. He is a person who have earn 13 000 and loose 14 000 at one night. And this is not because he didn’t know the value or the price of the money, but he is that type of person who is always “all in” and has big dreams for the future, which he want to realize as soon as possible. It could be also due to the fact that he is young and have no responsibilities to other people, like children or family. However, it could have many possible answers, but what I found positive from the whole situation was the fact that he realizes, that the hazard type games are not a way from earning money.
