Qualitative Critical Appraisal
In the research, qualitative research papers were identified by electronic and manual searches by following a systematic methodology.to link to the experiences of young and disadvantaged mothers. Within the research, 9 relevant articles were critically analysed by the qualitative critical appraisal skills programme tool. The main ideas expressed in the research are the 6 themes that were coded and gathered. In particular, the themes include the benefits of breastfeeding, barriers of breast feeding, feeding in public, myths surrounds breastfeeding, support and influence during breast feeding and exposure to breastfeeding.

    IntroductionThis study examined qualitative research on "Pregnancy and protection: Perceptions, attitudes and experiences of Australian female adolescents" to determine designs and methods used and to discover emergent themes across study. Most of the study reviewed was described as qualitative or phenomenological by design and included samples comprising of Australian females participants exclusively.     In “Bundles to Prevent Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia: How valuable are they?,” Charity Wip and Lena Napolitano present the results of a qualitative study to determine the value of different care bundles in preventing the occurrence of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP). In fact, the authors concede that VAP is often resultant of the ventilator care plan, and that the ventilator bundle would be critical in reducing the occurrence of VAPs among the intensive care unit (ICU) patients. Of important is the fact that a range of care bundles are present, each differing in its specific care process that focuses on VAP prevention and even mortality when VAP occurs. Using the information submitted in the research article, ICU medical personnel can refine their care plans for increased effectiveness in the reduction of VAP rates in the ICU. In addition, such an understanding would ensure better overall medical care outcomes in the ICU (Wip & Napolitano, 2009). Expectations from a nurse are enormous, especially from the patient’s perspective. This requires discipline, punctuality; evidence based and informed decision making capability, as well as thorough professional competence in terms of theoretical and practical skills. In fact a nurse has to play the role of a physician, counselor, pharmacist, family member and psychologist all rolled into one at the same time while dealing with her patients. No doubt, this requires a high level of competence which can easily break a normal person. Issues such as satisfaction with one’s career, ability to cope up with personal and professional challenges and the question whether the nursing profession allows one to lead a happy, fulfilling life, which is the ultimate human goal, therefore need to be addressed. Dendritic cells (DCs) are inflammatory cells that are considered to be the promoter of immune responses; knowing this the researchers hypothesized that DCs may play an important role in the development of the disease. Subjects were broken into three groups based on an illness gradient: (control group, smokers without airflow obstruction, and COPD group as determined by the Chinese Society of Respiratory Disease). Samples of alveolar tissue were taken from these three groups and studied using immunohistochemical staining and immunofluorescence confocal laser scanning. The results from the experiment are portrayed using a one-way analysis of variance, Pearson’s r coefficient, graphs, and scatter plots.
