Father: Jinnah Poonja. One of eight children. Married Emibai in 1892 (she died 1893). Married Ratanbai 'Ruttie' Petit, daughter of Sir Dinshaw Petit, a wealthy Bombay Parsee, in 1918. Ruttie died in 1929. Daughter: Dina Wadia (married to Neville Wadia, a Christian).

Cortes and the conquistadors were highly trained diplomatic soldiers who were assigned the task of introducing the Aztecs to Christianity and a new civilized way of life with the goal of making a more stable native populations in Mexico.     The party restored its constitution and began the progression of its organization from the scratch. Before it could combine itself, it took part in the 1937 provincial elections. Despite lack of time and fragile organizational structure, it won 104 out of 489 Muslim seats, and 70 per cent of the seats that it questioned.
