In the world of athletic competition, variations in equipment can greatly impact performance. For example over or under pumped balls can be detrimental to performance If you do not have the correct amount of air inside of the ball you could possibly blow a game which could end up costing you millions of dollars if you are a professional, and it could just all be because of the amount of air inside of the ball you are using. To test this theory, you can use a ball for the most popular and played sport in the world, soccer, to really see if it affects the sport that much and how far the ball goes due to the amount of air inside of the ball.

If the ball is too hard and way too pumped it means it is over the 15.6 pounds per square inch measurement. Researchers say it is not good to play with a overly pumped ball because it makes it hard to control and it bounces around the field too much and too high while playing which can affect how both teams play the game (3). Hard balls bounce more because they have less dents in them due to being flat.

The correct way to kick a soccer ball as far as possible is to keep your preferred foot’s ankle locked, get your thigh back and land on your kicking foot and your other foot last, do not land on your opposite foot. Last but not least, you must kick with the laces of your shoes and not your toes. It helps a lot to wear soccer cleats because they are first of all obviously made for soccer but are designed to help you kick the ball correctly and use good technique. The reason you want to kick the ball with you laces is because you will have a ton of power compared to kicking the ball with any other part of your foot or technique.
