We all look at the public school system and think the worst. In all reality the system just needs some work. It has been found that some teachers are just passing students with unknown knowledge. If we came up with a plan we could make the system better. If the students had shorter summer vacations, they would have more time to focus. We just need more writing exercises in the classes to improve writing skills. One thing you don’t see a lot of is more speech assignments. I promise constructing this plan will surly help our students, to become better people of society.
To start, if our students had shorter summer vacations, they would have more time to focus. It has been proven that the longer children are out of school the more knowledge they loose. The children should have time off of school but all of the excessive time is not called for. When the children are on break they aren’t doing homework or reviewing. They are playing video games and hanging out. That’s why if we shorten the summer vacations they will have more time in school to study. If their focusing on the things they need. They will have no time to focus on unnecessary things.
Another solution is to have more writing exercises in the classes. If we have more writing exercises the students will improve their writing skills. Writing is one of the most important skills students should know. Writing will take the students a long way in what

Lastly, you don’t see many speech assignments. Speech is another important skill students should have. Most public schools do not pay attention to student’s speech. Most of the time teachers by pass it. If they speak correctly its okay, but if they speak incorrectly they don’t try to help. The human speech is a deceiving thing. Letting slang be apart of their everyday language has been accepted. We should have assignments everyday or week to help with their speech. We need to work on it constantly with our students.
