Racism is psychology, ideology and social policy based on unscientific ideas and ideas of physical and psychological inequality of human races. According to Rosalie Silberman Abella, “Systematic discrimination” means practices or attitudes which have, whether by design or impact, the effect of limiting an individual`s or a group`s right to the opportunities generally available because of attributed rather that actual characteristics. It is not a question of whether this discrimination is motivated by an international desire to obstruct somebody`s potential, or whether it is the accidental bi-product of innocently motivated practices or systems. If a barrier is affecting some groups in a disproportionately negative way, it is a signal that the practices that lead to this adverse impact may be discriminatory.…

Illegal immigrants have always been a problem in the United States for some time now. “In October 2008, the illegal immigrant population stood at 11.9 million according to the Pew Hispanic Center” ("Illegal Immigration Facts & Statistics”). An efficient border patrol in our country would be a good step in the right direction to stop illegal immigration and the effect it has on our country. Illegal immigrants are at fault for such things as smuggling drugs into the country, which increases crime rate. Illegal immigrants also deprive U.S. citizens’ from the lower and middle class of jobs. America will also lose money on taxes and schools lose funds in most public systems because of teaching illegal immigrants. “In 1965, the number of aliens apprehended by the Border Patrol coming across the border was 110,000. Now that number is more than one million annually” ("Illegal Immigration Facts & Statistics”). An effective border patrol not only helps American citizens, but it also keeps many illegal immigrants out of our country.…
