Protect Nature
PROTECT YOUR NATURE AND SAVE YOUR FUTURE

Respected HM Mam, all Teachers /Sirs and my dear friends,

HI, I am ARCHI DAGA from class 2 C.

Nature is our surrounding, which includes AIR, Water, Trees, Forest, Animal and all other living and non living things.

We, human beings for our short time benefit are polluting the nature around us and putting our life into danger.

AIR pollution, Water pollution, Soil contamination, excess use of fuel and energy, Destroying forest and trees and killing of animals is resulting into ecological imbalance on this earth resulting into Global Warming, Damage to OZONE layer, reduced availability of drinking water and existence of life on earth.

Hence I request all my friends to realize this danger to existence of life on earth and protect our future by protecting our nature.

We should plant more and more trees and save our rain forest, as it gives or generates the most of Oxygen which is must for existence of life on earth.

We need to defend our oceans by challenging water pollution and wasteful and destructive fishing.

We need to create a toxin free future with safer alternatives to hazardous chemicals and polythenes.

Reducing our electricity demand not only saves money, but also water, water that humans need to survive!

Using available limited fuel with sarcity, so that our next generation can have some resources for future.

Friends ! Its fearing and an alarm to us from our nature, that if we don’t take proper steps to save our nature, there will no future of us or any kind of life on earth.

So friends, save nature to save our future

    World Popuation in 1970

As the world’s population increased so did the need for materials and goods. The growing population over looked environmental issues due to the need for goods which caused pollution, global warming, and the over use of our world’s natural resources. Pollution threatened the world’s supply of water and clean air because as human population increased so did the amount of trash and other pollutants we let infect our water and air. Rates of extinction of other species accelerated sharply due to human pollutants. Deforestation and desertification were continued consequences of the human impact on the environment because more and more humans used wood to build houses and buildings. Also, when we cut down the trees we did not replace them, which also caused deforestation and desertification. Rates of extinction of other species accelerated sharply. The increase in population also started global warming which is a major consequence of the release of greenhouse gases and other pollutants into the atmosphere. Humans also exploited and competed over the earth’s finite resources more intensely than ever before in human history.…

Our planet and life as we know it is in grave danger! Did you know that, in 2007, humans need for natural resources had surpassed the amount of resources the earth had to offer by fifty percent? What this means is that it would take one and a half planets to fill the overwhelming need for natural resources in order to serve mankind. By 2030, people will require such a great amount of resources to sustain the current level of consumption that our earth will eventually fail to provide this need (WWF 9). Natural resources that humans are consuming at a significant rate include materials, water, energy, and fertile land. These resources support all living life on earth, and due to humans increasing need for natural resources we are causing severe damage to our planet. Some of the effects that we are seeing due to the overconsumption of these resources include reductions in many things such as clean water supply, fish numbers, and woodlands. We are seeing many more species coming closer and closer to being placed on the endangered species list and our rich fertile soil is diminishing quickly (Giljum et al. 3). We are also seeing a significant change in our climate due to rising levels of greenhouse gases. Many people believe that overconsumption is a result of overpopulation which makes overpopulation out to be the larger issue, but it isn’t. Overconsumption of natural resources should be a separate, distinct issue and should be addressed as the major environmental concern of today, not overpopulation.…

When we look back on the history of our human beings, it is hard to deny that ourselves, as well as all the other living creatures in the world, are born of nature. However, up to now, human beings destroy the environment arbitrarily for their own interest, hunting animals, felling forest, without thinking about the consequences. On the other hand, nature becomes more and more unsuitable for people to live in. The balance between human beings and the nature is in the process of disappearing.…

With today’s growing population, resource consumption is becoming a huge concern. It is important that humans realize what is best for both our present and future generation, and what is best for our planet. We must preserve certain areas from being destroyed to keep their natural beauty. We should also conserve resources, so they can continue to flourish, but also so we can continue to live our lives without depleting these resources. Every individual unit of the environment works together to maintain a balance that supports the cycle of life. Humans must co-exist in a positive way with these units. We should live in a way that does not exploit any part of nature. We should not only respect and sustain the environment for our own benefit and for future generations, but also because nature itself is good on its own.…

It is a well-known fact that humans have been living on and modifying the earth since the beginning of time. Today, it is called “managing our resources” or “drilling responsibly,” but these actions still prove the arrogance of humanity to believe the earth is ours to manipulate. As we continue to inhabit this planet, we destroy our precious environment without concern for how our actions affect others who inhabit our planet. We are continually warned by scientists that our activities present danger to the environment. For example, our over-consumption is associated with limiting natural resources, and deforestation is a threat to the survival of all species on Earth. Trees produce oxygen, a necessity for life; what happens when it’s all gone? The future of the Earth remains in doubt, due to the damaging impacts that arise from the human’s greed for their own fulfillment and ego.…

    Man And Nature

Ever since man has come on the Earth, he has brought nothing but destruction to nature. Since they started use of toxic materials and oil, there has been a lot of pollution. Man has always wanted to live and travel comfortably but he did not know was that he was destroying nature. The cause of nature getting destroyed was pollution, oil spills, cutting down trees, sound pollution, killing animals for their skin and other purposes and the list goes on and on. He did not think that it would finally affect him in a very bad way. Because of man, many fantastic creatures are extinct like the Tazmanian Tiger, The Dodo Bird, The golden bear, etc. and animals that are going to be extinct such as the Great White Shark, the sperm whale, the golden bald eagle, the Serbian tiger and the African elephant. Scientists had predicted about global warming and greenhouse effect many years before but man did not listen. He went on polluting more and killing animals and cutting down more trees. This spoiled the environment even more which probably caused the bad weather, earthquake and tsunami in South-East Asia and its neighbours. Scientists have predicted that if the environment keeps getting worse, there will be drastic change in the Earth's environment in the 2020. The tsunamis and the earthquakes are just warning from the Mother Nature. Man still has a chance to take corrective measures or else it will be very late. Nothing will change if the people will not change. People should stop throwing wrappers, plastic glasses, etc. People also spit on the roads and pollute the environment in which they live. But he does not realize that this action of his will only destroy the delicate balance of nature. If the nature takes matter into their own hands, it will destroy man by natural calamities such as tsunamis, earthquakes, flashfloods, storms, volcanic eruptions and a beginning of a new ice age. The natural calamities that are increasing day by day are a wakeup call to mankind. We…
