Prostitution Should Be Legalized

Prostitution is the act or practice of offering sexual activity to another individual in return for immediate transaction in cash or other valuable items. The individual who gets transaction during this sexual activity is known as a hooker or a prostitute in general. Prostitution is typically divided into 5 categories: Street prostitution, Escort prostitution, Brothel prostitution, Sex tourism and Virtual sex. In Malaysia, this activity is still illegal. However, I think that prostitution should be legalized in Malaysia with the reasons of it is a legitimate job, it boost our country’s economic, it reduces the number of crime in our country and it is the issue of woman’s right. First of all, I think that prostitution should be legalized in Malaysia is because prostitution is actually a legitimate job. It can be counted as a job when there is a demand and supply in the society. Besides, because of those willing buyers and sellers, a market will exist. So, prostitution should be legalized as it is a legitimate job. As my opinion, prostitution should be legalized in our country a prostitute has nothing different with the actor from the celebrities career, they are both selling their bodies. Why can an actor or actress sell their body to their own career but not the prostitutes? Moreover, the main reason for most of the prostitutes to get in to this career is because of money. They can earn faster for being a prostitute. Once prostitution has been legalized, all the prostitutes are counted working legally. When prostitution is legal, government can actually taxed the services, and from there, the revenue can be used to develop other firm in our country. Other than that, legalizing prostitution also helps in reducing the unemployment rate of our country. Legalizing prostitution is a win-win situation for the government and the prostitutes. Next, we should legalized prostitution is because by reducing prostitution, it also reduce the number of crime
