Low cost of the immunization along with ease of availability to all income levels is a positive. By vaccinating children with no life threatening ailments, it continues to benefit those in the surrounding community that may not be able to receive the vaccine due to illness, such as cancer or any other immunosuppressed disease, and/or age. Very young patients who have not been able to receive all their vaccines, may be more susceptible to a particular illness.
