Pros And Cons Of School Starting Later
School starting earlier is a crime to students. Students need more time for concentration. To support this the average teen needs around 9.5 hours of sleep a night. Yet studies say they only get 7.4 hours of sleep so they’re more sleepy. Another reason is it has a health impact. Since 1990s, sleep researchers and other health pros say school being earlier harmed the kids. The symptoms of sleep deprivation are weight gain,diabetes,suicidal ideation and more.the last reason is school success. Kids who are tired can't learn at their best and sleep deprivation impairs learning,memory and well being. School improvements have been made when schools restored longer times. Given these points school starting later would be fine for students.
