Pros And Cons Of Reckless Driving
Teens are some of the most reckless drivers. But the thing is most teens are very inexperienced behind the wheel. You can get your permit any age after 15 years old in the United States. In my opinion I think teens should be able to drive from place to place. Car crashes are the leading cause of american teens. 1 third of all deaths of sixteen to eighteen-year olds. 2 percent of drivers in the US are 11 percent of the Car Crashes in the US. That's actually pretty sad because that makes up more than 10 percent of accidents in the US. I think that it's better if teens are able to drive because it's better to learn at an early age because so you will know what you are doing right or wrong for whenever it's time for you to drive in the real

There are times when you might not want to worry about driving. During these times it might feel good to just sit back and relax, while you leave the driving to someone else. Perhaps you're going on a brewery and wine tour with a group of friends, for example. It just doesn't seem fair that one person has to skip tasting the wine or beer in order to be the designated driver. What happens if the designated driver isn't as responsible as you thought? This can lead to a host of problems that can quickly turn a fun day out, into something that takes your life down a very difficult path. 1 cause of death among 15 to 20-year olds in this country”. When I turned 16 I knew that I wasn't ready to start driving yet, and waited till I was 17 to get my permit. Teenagers should drive when they feel ready to be behind the wheel, which should be around the 17 age range. I also agree with Quindlen's point that in New Jersey we have among the strictest laws but are rarely enforced. With the laws being more enforced it shows that if you're driving recklessly there will be…

Or even as a teenager, do you want to end your life early because you don’t know the proper rules of the road? I don’t think a teenagers life should ever be in danger because they aren’t sure how to do a correct left turn going into oncoming traffic, or how to yield at a yield sign. The driving age should be raised to eighteen so teens are more responsible, mature, and ready to take on a very dangerous task that they will continue doing the rest of their life.…

The appropriate age for a teenager to obtain a driving permit is 16 years old, however I believe it should be raised to 17 since there is a high rate of teenagers causing accidents. There might be some exceptions why they should keep it at 16 but due to the high rate of teen crashes they should raise the age to 17. Statistics have shown that teenagers have a higher chance of accidents. Teenagers from the ages of 15 to 17 are more likely to cause a car crash for many reasons. While teenagers go out at night and drive around with friends and only have their permit, they are putting other’s people life at risk. The three main reasons why teenagers should be at least the age of 17 to be able to get their permit is because they drive and text,…

I think teenage driving should not be raised and remained the same. Driving can be complicated for people that haven’t experienced it at all, especially, the ones that are nervous and seen the downsides of driving on drivers education. Getting the teens to drive vehicles can overcome their fear and help them learn more outside. Not only that, but it also have them get used to land vehicles they are already familiar with the roads, the signs, etc. Early driving comes with three good benefits such as: actual driving experience, increases responsibility, and stabilizes memory and awareness.…

Teenage accident rates and mortality rates have increased dramatically over the years. Nothing that the parents do and law enforces will protect the teens all the time, especially from themselves. Teenagers do not realize the responsibility that comes with driving. They are often distracted with other things such as texting while driving. Most importantly, parents always worry about the safety of their kids on the road. Some people may say that the driving age should stay at the age of 16; however, raising the driving age to 18 will create safer and more responsible drivers. Firstly, teenagers are very careless. In addition, increasing the minimum driving age will allow teenagers more time to get comfortable with driving. Finally, the number of fatal accidents will be reduced. Therefore, the minimum driving age should be raised from 16 to 18.…

Because of safety concerns, many states have increased the age at which teens can begin to drive. Some teenagers at the age of 16 are responsible. Some 16 year olds are irresponsible. Also, all 18 year olds are not responsible and able to drive the correct way. The state legislature should not raise the minimum age from 16 to 18 because some 16 year olds have a job and need transportation, a few may not like to depend on individuals to drive them back and forth, and many teenagers like to do their own things and not always with their parents.…

If teenagers took a step back and thought about the consequences of driving, they would understand that no one's life is worth a little bit more freedom. No parent should have to bury their child on account of the risk they took by getting behind the wheel. The driving age should be raised to save the millions of lives that could be lost…
