The results from our experiment does support our hypothesis. When comparing and viewing the data of the amount of pullets that were recording, pill bugs preferred rotten fruit to rotten meat. The accuracy of our data was based upon the amount of times the treatment was repeated and the amount of Pill bugs that died. Pill bugs cannot live in a cold environment because they will freeze. Due to the irregular climate in the North country, that would be a factor that could not have been controlled and would be one of the variables that caused the pill bugs to die. If this experiment was replicated, a controlled climate and a longer testing period would help produce more stable results.…

Most without a doubt would turn to insects being a host that can spread a disease or virus through air or by land quicker than animals and humans probabaly would. Now this should not be a complete green light for man to begin bug spraying evrerything around them to assure they do not get sick, for I can assure you that the bug spray bottle you hold can kill you probably quicker than any disease everwill. I stand with Racheal Carsons belief that insecticides isn’t the best option for exterminating or balancing the insect population. First we need to understand that when we grow a certain crop in just one certain field, despite how organized that is. If an insect thrives off of a certain plant which is the same plant growing in an entire field, that insect will grow in population.…

Many stereotypes have become associated with veganism. It is said to be extreme because of the politics that are involved with vegan’s voices and dollars. Vegans abstain from wearing leather, fur, wool, pearls or anything that comes from an animal meaning they shop alternatively. They buy clothes and shoes made from plant materials such as hemp which are manufactured in an ethical form. There is substantial advocacy for animals online and in city streets with explicit images of what goes on behind the veil of these big food industries. These advocating vegetarians and vegans can come off as bold and overbearing. Their messages are loud though, most of the vegan culture does not devote to dedication such as theirs. Although the production of…

It is brutal and immoral to kill animals for food while there is a plenty of rich nutritional non-animal food. All animals are warm-blooded beings that have emotion and feeling therefore, they can experience fear, shock, and pain. Animal slaughter is a significant issue. “In the United States about 35 million cows, 115 million pigs, and 9 billion birds are killed for food each year” (Procon.org). How can so many people want to kill animals just because of their tasty meat? For example, bacon is one of the most common foods that every household has in their refrigerator. They usually have a crispy bacons plate for their dinner, and nobody can deny its delectable taste. But how many people actually know where the bacon comes from?
