The Horrors of Cosmetic Animal Testing
Cruelty-free makeup is the best choice for consumers because cosmetic animal testing is cruel and inhumane; There should be more attention and publicity towards these industries.
Animals are not only tortured during the repulsive act of cosmetic testing, they also are killed. One hundred million animals a year are killed due to cosmetic animal testing. No matter what the makeup actually does to these powerless animals they are put down after every testing. They kill the animals by asphyxiation, neck-breaking or decapitation. Asphyxiation is when they smother the animal so it is no longer able to breathe and decapitation is cutting off the head of the animal. Keep in mind that when they do kill these innocent animals after doing tests on them no pain relief is provided
Animal testing is not just for cosmetic tests but for lotions, perfumes, and anything a human can consume. They have many different horrific ways of testing products on animals such as skin and eye irritation tests and lethal dose tests.
